I maintain an active illustration practice that informs my commercial work. My style combines bold graphic color, dynamic composition, and detailed lineworkâworking in both traditional pen-and-ink and digital techniques.
Illustration keeps my eye sharp and my creative process fresh. It's where I experiment with composition, explore color relationships, and refine technical craft without client constraints. That freedom makes me better at solving client problems when I'm back at my desk.
The work ranges from character studies to environmental scenes, always emphasizing strong negative space, energetic angles, and areas of intense detail contrasted with graphic simplicity. It's a practice that's been evolving for years and continues to challenge me.
